急招:Commercial Manager (base in Shanghai)

Our Customer is looking for a proven commercial manager to head up its team in Shanghai, as well as the offices in Guangzhou and Beijing and at the same time develop the centre of China. The person must be proactive with a “hands-on” management style, who looks at the detail and knows the answer before the question is asked.

The successful candidate will already have experience in Modern Trade, preferably in a similar field of household cleaning tools, gloves or other similar category.

Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets and contribution to the overall P&L the job content includes:

Sales management

    Sales forecast and budget plan, review and follow-up

o    Quarterly and Monthly Review: Management and organization

    Set Detailed Targets

o    Monthly Forecasting for Planning, in Collaboration with Sales Team

    Engage in monthly purchase planning and review.

    Validate forecasts

    Promotions Management

o    Organizing Promotions with the sales teams.  Overseeing and implementing the plan

o    Tracking the costs.  Reporting on variances

    Customer development

o    Key customer strategy set up and performance review

o    Communication with Global Accounts team based in France

o    New customer development plan

    Setting objectives and following up.

o    Wholesaler customer development plan and policy

    Define areas and select customers.

o    Channel policy set-up and follow up.

    Regional Development

o    Develop the Central Region

    Recruit teams and set targets

    Sales team management

o    Regional sales team structure plan and evaluation

o    Delegate sales objective to each region and monitor fulfillment status in each region

o    Control and ensure quarterly and monthly action plan to be executed properly and promptly and do instant necessary adjustment according to market situation

o    Set sales bonus scheme and motivate team to achieve objectives.

    AR collection and trade expense management

o    In coordination with finance team, set up AR collection and in-store expense control procedure and system and monitor them to be executed properly in each region, and make necessary adjustment

o    Chase after statements and invoices and payment…..

    Sales administration management

o    Set up sales administration procedure in accordance with Company ERP system and policy, and ensure it to be followed up in each region

    Ensure data validity through close control and monitoring of staff

o    Design various sales managerial reports which can provide useful and update information to company and group.

    MAT’s to show sales by region, by customer and by category…..

    Key Account Management

o    Liaise with France on customer development,

    Data generation and reports.

o    Regular feedback on meetings and call reports with KA



    Marketing & Product management

o    Oversee product range review, new product development

o    With cooperation from the Marketing Product Manager, make promotion proposal and conduct regular category performance review and margin analysis

o    Elaborate and manage PR proposals and evaluation, execution and review.

o    Execute advertorial and trade marketing



    Logistic management

o    Manage warehouse function.

o    Manage warehouse management regulation and procedure in accordance with Company system and policy, and monitor them to be executed properly in each region

o    Be involved in logistic solution selection and evaluation for move to 3PL



    Office management

o    Monthly Business Review organisation

    General Coordination aspects of the business.  Follow up to ensure implementation of decisions made with other staff members

o    Administration Meeting Organization.

    Plan and oversee the general administration needs of the office.

    Engage in office administration policy set up

o    Office IT management and maintenance, hardware and software purchase.

    Oversee the investments and general purchases and maintenance

•    Computers fax, telephones

o    ERP (Sales and logistic function) management maintenance, operational procedure set up and monitor to unify practical operation with system operation

    New user authorization etc.
