An international beverage Company and a leading global sales and distribution network of premium wine and spirits brands.With operations worldwide, it offers a superior platform for launching new brands, as well as building existing brands on a global scale.Its worldwide portfolio includes some of the most well known premium brands in the world.
Globally, the Company’s operations are divided into the 4 regions: Europe, Asia/Pacific, North/South Americas and other Markets.In Asia, a China holding company has been set up to manage the markets of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao.In Mainland China, the Company has enjoyed a fast and profitable growth so far.In light of foreseeable market expansion, it needs to recruit a Senior Brand Manager, to be based in Shanghai, to assistant the Marketing Director to develop both long and short-term strategies as agreed with the Brand principles and local management, develop and implement the annual marketing programs, perform research and implement the annual marketing programs, perform research and analysis for the orientation of the future brand development, generate volume building programs for the China domestic markets, coordinate and control APB expenses, and to deliver budgeted, yearly volumes and net sales.
Responsibilities:
1.Assist Marketing Director to develop long-term strategic plans in conjunction with Brand principles and local management
2.Develop annual marketing/ business plans
3.Develop, coordinate and control annual advertising and promotion budgets
4.Develop and implement key marketing programs. This includes advertising, promotion, (on and off trade), new product launches, new pricing policies and public relations
5.Analyze brand volume/ distribution/ pricing/ consumer/ market trends and competition activities, using existing tools and recommending ad hoc research
6.Manage day-to-day communication with Brand principles and production/ logistics department, as relevant.
7.Maintain open communication with China sales team
8.Interact with appropriate sales management to ensure execution of key programs and consistency with brand strategic guidelines
9.Manage supplier agencies, including public relationship, advertising and promotions, in coordination, as appropriate, with the Merchandising Manager for gift-packs, GWP’s and POSM development and sourcing
10.Ensure adherence to budget and company procedures
Requirements
1.University graduate or above, preferably MBA in marketing or equivalent studies
2.Over 5 years consumer brand marketing experience
3.Previous management experience in luxury and alcohol beverage industry is highly preferred
4.Fluency in both written and spoken English is desirable
5.Process excellent interpersonal skills and be open communicator
6.Be versatile and mentally flexible, strategic thinker who is able to draw upon and synthesize broad and varied input.
7.He or she is also an energetic, outgoing and highly social team player who can interact with different cultures and be ease in night, social drinking environment
