Job Position:    Senior    Product Manager – Functional Food / Beverage
Division:        Food Division
Department:    Marketing
Job Location:     Shanghai

Reporting Relationship
    Directly responsible to Marketing Director 
    Peers include Marketing Product Managers, Marketing Research Manager, Brand Activation Manager

Job Objectives
    To develop the functional food or beverage category for Unilever Food China
    To identify the entry strategy, the key categories opportunities and the marketing activities for consumer and key opinion former & leaders
    To roll out the international functional foods/beverage projects in China 
    To train and develop the marketing skills of subordinates in the team 

Main Duties and Responsibilities
    Build relevant consumer insight for its new category (understanding consumers; planning and interpreting of marketing research, anticipating future consumer opportunities)
    Identify business opportunity from market & consumer understanding
    Develop relevant product concept to answer the identified market opportunity   
    Lead the product development process and ensure the product mix performance   
    Develop full marketing mix for the product launch including channel planning, brand communication and activation etc.  
    Develop a communication plan for Key opinion leaders (Hospital, University, Nutritionist, and Ministry of Health…) 
    Generate a brand innovation pipeline in line with consumers insight and KOF’s (Key Opinion Formers) requirements in China
    Give daily coaching to subordinates and develop their professional kills and competencies.
